When Penetration Is Too Much

About uncomfortable and painful sex...
Hey y'all,
regardless of what hole we're sticking things in, sometimes we go that smidge too deep and it's more uncomfortable than pleasurable. We're here to give you some pointers on how to make sex more enjoyable, whether you have a real flesh and blood and bone(er) penis or a silicone friend. Or glass, or metal....
1. Take it slow!
Rough hard sex can be awesome for some people, but there is not shame in taking it slow and intimately. Going slow is great for getting to know yourself and your body better. It is always sweet when your partner checks in on you. Uncomfortable sex just makes drags everything down anyway. Every party should feel safe to state when things don't feel right, communication is key :)
2. Taking it in steps.
Dilators are a good choice when your goal toy is too large in girth. Starting small and slow while you move up will build tension and make your time more pleasurable. Foreplay is also very important. The more aroused you are, the more your body will be prepared. You don't necessarily need a dilator set; different sized dildos that step up will do you just as well. It just depends on whether or not texture is something you desire.

3. Stopper rings.
If a toy or your real flesh and bone penis is too long, you can try stopper rings. These are cock ring-esque, but do not serve to constrict the penis. Rather, their job is to reduce the insertable length of your phallus. You can stack multiple of them to get your desired length. A great option if you still want to go at it a bit faster.

4. Good o'l lube.
If you aren't using lubricant already, you should add it to your toy box. Even if you get slippery on your own, give it a go and feel the difference for yourself. We advocate for lube as a quality of life thing. It's always good to keep a bottle near your bed just in case!
5. Just don't!
There are other ways to enjoy intimacy. If you do not enjoy penetration, you should not feel obligated to partake in it. Nipple stimulation, clitoral stimulation, penile stimulation, touch play, kink, etc... There are so many ways to enjoy your body. Do not feel ashamed for doing what feels best for yourself!
The weather is getting a little gloomier, stay warm everyone.
Peace and love.
